VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for Earth Hour 2009

Can just one hour save our planet?

It might seem like an insignificant amount of time in the large scheme of things but the impact on the planet is potentially huge. Earth Hour is an opportunity for the citizens of the world to send a clear message that they want to take action on climate change.

Here is what is happening this Earth Hour, Saturday March 28th 2009:

- 284 Canadian cities and municipalities participating

- 3249 cities and towns in 84 countries across all seven continents prepare to unite for Earth Hour

- 829 icons and landmarks around the world to switch off lights in support of climate change action

Please VOTE EARTH this Saturday, March 28th, by switching off your lights for one hour from 8.30pm to 9.30 pm wherever you are.

Time to spring clean…though not just your home

We are less than three weeks away from the Spring equinox.

This time of the the year is all about cleaning.  Holding on to old stuff be it emotional or physical raise the chances of it becoming toxic. Now given the depression lingering due to the economic recession, I daresay all of us could benefit from clearing our ‘emotional mold.’
